This is one of the rarer ‘modern day’ Omega’s you will find. Limited to just 3000 pieces worldwide. Finding one in full set is not that easy, that’s for sure.
We have to admit that this watch is not for everybody. It’s a ‘you hate it or you love it’ kind of watch. Personally, we have always had a soft spot for the Polaris line-up and felt that this watch has been undervalued for a long time.
This example is completely unpolished and still has the Olympic rings on the endlinks, which is quite rare. The case is steel with 2mm thick strips of 24-carat gold inlaid into the case. Omega never revealed exactly how this was achieved, so it remains an unusual and intriguing mystery to this day.
